How we got started ...
Safe Wheels is a family owned and operated transportation service created by Tahra Katane. As a busy mother, Tahra was struggling to meet the ever changing demands of her children’s busy schedule. After exhausting all of her options, Tahra created Safe Wheels for parents who, like her, face the dilemma of juggling their conflicting schedules while faced with the task of driving their kids to after school activities, doctors appointments, sports camps….

While we remain focused on helping kids in our community get rides to their many activities, we have also contracted with different school districts to handle their special needs and McKinney-Vento transportation. We have a large fleet that includes large/mini vans, sedans and an incredible and courteous team that help us in our quest to get students to their destinations - safe and on time.
